From August 11 to 15, 2010, the 4th International German Meeting of 2CV Friends (“Deutschlandtreffen”, DET 2010) will be held in the State of Baden-Württemberg.
After the 3rd DET was organised at Backsberg near Bremen by the northern German clubs in 2008, the 2010 DET will be held
in southern Germany on the Niederstetten airfield. It is situated in the wonderful Tauber region, best known by the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
In the vicinity, many more beautiful historic towns like Würzburg or Bad Mergentheim are worth a visit. The valleys of the rivers Main, Kocher, Jagst and Tauber enchant the visitor with their scenic beauty, art, and other cultural highlights. You can explore the surroundigs by driving the Romantic Road (Romantische Straße) or the Württemberg Wine Road (Württembergische Weinstraße). Castles like in a ferry tale, old churches, little chapels, many museums and other historic buildings wait to be explored.
We are sure you will enjoy the region as well as the meeting itself. We have prepared an exciting programme with five days of fun and music, games, a food degustation and more highlights for 2CV friends of all ages.
